The Berkey Light Water Filter is the ideal lightweight system designed for use during outdoor activities such as camping, hunting, traveling, and during unexpected emergencies. The Berkey Light Water Filter comes standard with 2 x Black Berkey Water Filter Elements. You can order additional water filter elements if you prefer. In addition, you can extend the Berkey Light with Berkey Fluoride Filters, so that you can filter fluoride, heavy metals and many of the other undesirable elements listed below, from your drinking water. The water filter elements must be rinsed with water (primers) before initial use. A handy pressure pump has been designed for this exact purpose, making this process as easy as possible for you. The number of PF-2 filters must always be the same as the number of Black Berkey water filters. 2 PF-2 Fluoride and Arsenicum Filters are good for filtering 3,785 liters of water, or 1 year's worth of usage. These filters are recommended if you expect to encounter an emergency situation where you need to filter highly contaminated water.
