The Berkey Light Water Filter comes standard with one Black Berkey Water Filter Element. The water filter element must be rinsed with water (primers) before initial use. A handy pressure pump has been designed for this exact purpose, making this process as easy as possible for you. This works much faster and better than flushing under a tap. The Black Berkey Primer is included in this kit.
